Found this amazing video on how to set type, I really enjoy the nit and grit of setting your own type. There aint many places that use this method left which is a shame. I think if every agency in London had a letter press it would make it a better place, I would love to own my letter press and a couple of boxes of type! if any one has one for sale let me know!
sleepy time
Haven’t put much up at all but been busy with final uni work, try and get on top of it in the next few weeks there is so much to put up!! Any way, always wanted to try this and the use of the Sleep Cycle iPhone App makes it even more interesting, it even show where I got up to get a drink haha. Hope you enjoy it and find it interesting like I do!

I have tried doing timelapse before but not succeeded in anything special, this video has given me the ambition to try it again. I have my new Nikon D90 and the software all i need, now all I need is the time and for my laptop on to shut down half way through again. The equipment Mike is using is a Dolly system from http://www.dynamicperception.com/ just wish i had the cash for one of those, all i use is my tripod and an iphone app. Im going to give it a go and see what i get, (fingers crossed for something tomorrow).

I used to be on the second page of google when you typed in Front and now im on the fourth, not good! so if i put this post up it may help with getting on the first page. Well I found this on youtube randomly and think it is that weird i should put it on my blog haha. There are 3 actors doing the vocal warmups with a twist. You just have to watch it for yourself, starts getting good at 1min.
wilfred owen: Dulce et Decorum est
I was cleaning out my room the other day and came across all my old english notes from gcse, i found a file saying “war poetry” and the first poem on top was this, Wilfred Owen: Dulce et Decorum est. I remember studying this poem in a lot of depth and found it quite moving and sombre. I wanted to set my self a challenge to make some what of a graphic piece in homage to this extremely famous poem. As typography aint my strongest point in graphics design but really interests me i thought this would be a fitting way to go about things. The image below is my typography piece which i believe shows the sadness of the poem and is also a visual representation of the poem.
